Darryl D’Monte was Resident Editor of “The Times of India” and the “Indian Express” in Mumbai and is now an independent  journalist and author.

He is the Chairperson of the Forum of Environmental Journalists of India and was the founder President of the International Federation of Environmental Journalists (IFEJ) in Dresden, Germany, in 1993.
